Home Construction
At Ikon Homes, we recognize that the creation of your new residence marks an exciting and crucial voyage for both parties involved. We are committed to facilitating every stage of the construction journey smoothly, guaranteeing a stress-free experience for you and your loved.
Solid Groundwork
The anticipation is growing, quite literally, as we establish the sturdy groundwork for your envisioned home. Our dedication to superior craftsmanship starts from the very foundation, guaranteeing a robust footing for the construction journey ahead.

For the Sake of Your Safety
Although we understand your enthusiasm, our top priority is ensuring your safety. We respectfully ask that you avoid visiting the construction site on your own. At Ikon Homes, we are committed to upholding Health & Safety Standards rigorously, and we diligently enforce all policies to maintain a secure environment. Your safety is our utmost concern.
Walkthrough of Framing
As part of our Customer Care program, we provide a unique Framing Walkthrough appointment. Scheduled during the electrical stage, prior to insulation and drywall installation, this appointment offers you the chance to tour your home safely. We require safety gear, which we can provide or you may bring your own. This 1-hour inspection is limited to a maximum of 2 adults (purchasers) to ensure safety and a thorough walkthrough.

Pre-Delivery Inspection, often abbreviated as PDI.
The Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) stands as a pivotal stage. We will reach out to you before your closing date to arrange this meeting. The PDI presents an opportunity for you to inspect your finished home, confirming its functionality and alignment with your requirements. Take a look at our video guide for an overview of a standard PDI appointment.
Closing Day
The long-awaited “closing day” has arrived. Upon completion of all formalities, you will be handed the “house key.” This signifies the time to unload moving trucks, accept new appliances and furniture, and arrange for service installations. Kindly be reminded that no moving, deliveries, or installations are allowed until the closing is officially confirmed.

Certification of Grading
Prior to the municipality taking control, the Grading Certification serves as the ultimate requirement. An experienced engineer accompanies a representative from Great Millennium Homes to inspect the subdivision, ensuring that the grading complies with the approved plans. To facilitate a seamless procedure, any modifications to landscaping should be postponed until after obtaining Grading Certification. We will provide regular updates on the progress of the assumption process to keep you informed.
